Up and down the UBC Clock Tower!
Over twice the height of the UBC Clock Tower in length of ponytails collected!
wigs for sick children in B.C.
Costing around $1,000-$3,000 for a real human hair wig, it’s a heavy financial burden on families already stretched thin caring for their sick child. Conservatively, if only 20 wigs are made, that saves families at least
dollars.

No Ponytail? No Problem!
Not enough hair to donate? People looking to support the cause could pay $25 to get their haircut. Those with enough hair to make a donation would get the same professional haircut for only $10.
Professional Hairdressing
On The Fringe Hair Design (UBC) provided us with not only a venue to host our event through, but also with 6 highly trained, professional stylists, and their excellent touch-up guarantee.
That’s right – participants not satisfied with their haircut were welcomed back to the salon for touchups for free. Not only that, On The Fringe Hair Design collected pony tails throughout the year that were passed onto us for this year’s Cuts for Cancer.

From A Massive Turn-Out
There were so many participants this year that we had to turn people away – we’re extremely sorry for that! We were so busy that our On The Fringe hairdressers had to do a complete cut-a-thon, barely getting a moment to rest before working on the neverending line of participants.
